Rocky Rockhill
Rocky Rockhill was born and raised on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. She grew up in the residential real estate business. Literally. Her childhood home doubled as her parents real estate office. Her sister Michele, a real estate broker on the East Coast, likes to tell clients that they were conceived in a real estate office. While that statement is actually true, Rocky worries that people could get the wrong impression from that bit of information. Both of her parents were real estate developers and her two sisters and brother have all had their licenses. Her family real estate business, M.E. Rockhill, Inc., established in the 1930’s is still operating in Long Beach, Maryland.
Rocky moved to California after graduating from Trinity College in Washington, D.C. and worked in commercial real estate and property management. She moved from Los Angeles to San Diego in 1986 to manage, lease, and oversee remodeling and construction in a 500,000 square foot high rise Downtown. Eventually succumbing to the family residential real estate business in her blood, she placed her license with Scott & Quinn in Mission Hills.
Rocky lives in Point Loma with her son, T.J., two dogs and two cats. She spent many years on the boards of Pt. Loma Little League and La Jolla Youth and currently volunteers with women’s and children’s charities. |
